What Should I Have Ready For The Sale?

• V5 document (also called logbook) this must be in your name
• MOT Certificate (if your car is more than 3 years old)
• Locking wheel nuts if there are any
• Spare keys
• Proof of address that matches your V5 (utility bill, council tax statement etc)
• Authority from your finance company. If you have any finance on your car, we need a letter from the finance company confirming the final settlement figure.

What Happens on The Day Of Collection?
When collecting the car, our buyer will inspect the car to ensure it matches the details and photos you’ve provided. It usually involves a quick look over the bodywork, interior, and general mechanics, and may involve a short test drive. Once our buyer is happy that the car is as described, they will make the payment to yourself and/ or your finance company, sign over the paperwork, and then take the car away.

Yes you can. We will need written permission from the registered owner. We can also help in the case of a car that needs to be sold on probate when the owner is deceased.

How and When Will I Receive Payment For My Car?
We will pay you direct into your UK bank account via BACs. The money is normally in your account within two hours. We will stay with you until you have received it safely

What If I Can’t Find my V5 Certificate?

Any modifications and additions to the normal specification of your car will be taken into account when the valuation is finalised in person.
